OUR GOAL: AVOID,
REDUCE AND OFFSET CO₂

Environmental protection has become an indispensable part of modern business management. Not only for the future of our children compliance with national standards, credibility and acceptance among customers but for economic reasons as well. Environmental protection also means saving valuable resources – the use of which could otherwise result in high costs.

The printing industry is a sector that has high material and energy consumption. Therefore, we feel particularly obligated toward the idea of sustainability. Through numerous measures we guarantee the highest quality to our customers, from an ecological point of view.

Committed to sustainability: Climate-neutral printing

We can produce climate-neutral mailings, forms and documents for you. This means that your printing products do not modify the equilibrium of the levels of CO₂ in the atmosphere, because any emissions occurring during production are offset by environmental protection. The selected climate protection measures are certified with highest standards developed by the WWF and many other non-governmental organisations. If requested, we can show you the amounts of CO₂-emissions that apply for each respective product – even during the proposal phase of a project.

Dedicated to sustainability: Internal measures

For us, environmental protection begins in-house. We continuously optimise all our process operations according to the requirements of the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.

Innovative for sustainability: Optimised products and processes

In developing our products, we are constantly looking for innovative methods that save resources. Methods that benefit equally the environment and our customers. For example we were able to offer solutions for the economisation of chemical papers from early on, such as Hydalam^® or Eco-Label.

We owe the continuous optimisation of products and processes to the outstanding qualifications of our employees. In-house training, regular exchange and extensive continuing education provide outstanding expertise. Therefore, there are no ifs, ands or buts when it comes to meeting deadlines and error-free execution. We work in accordance with a quality management standard as per DIN ISO 9001:2015 and ProzessStandard Offsetdruck (PSO). We have systematically aligned our technical systems and processes to our high standards.

Even prepress contains numerous control phases. A mandatory professional data check goes without saying. Our privacy certification guarantees legal compliance for the safe handling of confidential data. Our technical equipment, with a 10-colour printing press (narrow web-offset-printing), as well as various flexo, die-cutting and multi-function machines is perfectly matched – and provides countless solutions for your requirements. Our nitrogen drying offers special assurance and can eliminate the risks of conventional drying. 

Since 2007, we meet the requirements of the Process Standard Offset (PSO). This standard was developed by the associations of printing and media industry in Germany, together with the research institute Fogra. It describes quality control in the production of printed products – from data collection to the finished print product. The certificate must be renewed every two years.

FSC^®-Certificate

The FSC^® (Forest Stewardship Council^®) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation whose main goal is the improvement of forest management. For this purpose, the FSC advises forest enterprises on how they can produce wood products ecologically, socially and at the same time profitably. The FSC is supported by environmental organisations, trade unions and representatives of indigenous peoples. 

The FSC-Certificate entitles us to provide printed materials with the protected logo of the FSC-organisation. This guarantees that a paper is supervised by the FSC, for the entire production chain – from forest owner to printing company. We are happy to convince you to do your next print job on FSC-certified paper.

Our environmental management system has been certified since 2011 by the Lloyd’s Register of Quality Assurance GmbH as conforming to the DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. An essential component of DIN EN ISO 14001 is a continual improvement process, the implementation of which is constantly monitored and optimised, to achieve defined environmental targets.

With the implementation of the environmental management system, we underline a holistic and environmentally-oriented process management for sustainable print production.

Since 2011, we use electricity exclusively from renewable energy sources. With the use of 100% green electricity, over 1,000 tons of CO₂ emissions are avoided annually.

Since 07/2021 we compensate our carbon emissions by additional carbon offset projects.
